This is a 100,000-square foot structure complex with a 35,900-square-foot hangar bay large enough to shelter a commercial jetliner.  The hangar is flanked on both sides by two wings for offices and industrial shops, one 39,000 square feet and the other 26,000 square feet. Coupled with an 8,000-foot runway and a manned air traffic control tower, the hangar has the potential to generate substantial revenue.

The Millington Regional Jetport, the former Naval Airfield, is the heart of the 1900 acre Industrial Park Master Plan. The ILS, which has an 8,000-foot runway, can accommodate 309,000-pound dual tandem wheel loading, allowing the largest cargo planes to land.
The Airport directly supports 111 acres of aviation-related industrial land and also 405 acres of general and rail-related industrial land. Surrounding the Airport, streets allow easy movement of people and goods between the industrial areas and the 244 acres of office uses, 20 acres of commercial retail and a 33 acre office and campus area.

LEASING: The Millington (TN) Airport Authority,is requesting statements of interest for the development of vacant aeronautical land at the Millington Regional Jetport. Lot size is dependant upon the type proposed aeronautical development. The Jetport is located 16 miles north of Memphis, TN., has an 8,000 foot runway, Index “D” ARFF capabilities, and is adjacent to an industrial park.
